Fruity jelly cuts through rich, smooth peanut butter. Kids and adults of all ages love this classic flavor combination. I know that I do!

  • 8 Slices White Bread
  • 1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Jelly Or Jam
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Teaspoons Powdered Sugar
  1. Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
  2. Spread peanut butter onto 4 slices of bread. Onto remaining bread spread jelly or jam. Sandwich peanut butter and jelly slices.
  3. In shallow baking dish whisk milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and kosher salt.
  4. Add vegetable oil to large-size nonstick skillet. Turn heat to medium. Working with 2 sandwiches at a time, dip into egg mixture to soak both sides. Place in skillet. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to oven to keep warm. Continue dipping and cooking remaining sandwiches.
