Almost as simple as popping open a can, this four-ingredient sauce comes together with little effort. This recipe can be made ahead and refrigerated up to 5 days in advance.

  • 2 Oranges (Zest & Juice)
  • 6 Cups Fresh Cranberries
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  1. With a vegetable peeler, remove 4 long strips of zest for both oranges. Squeeze 3/4 cup juice from oranges into large-size saucepan. Stir in cranberries, sugar, cinnamon stick, and zest strips. Heat to boiling over a medium-high heat. Stir often. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes until most of the cranberries burst. Stir occasionally. Throw away cinnamon stick and zest strips. Transfer to a heatproof container. Cover and place in refrigerator until cool.
