“I could really go for a chilled rosé right now,” said NO ONE in February. I’ve got the cocktail; you just have to find the cozy fire to huddle around.
- 1 Tablespoon Unpeeled Ginger
- 1/2 Teaspoon Whole Cloves
- 1 Teabag Darjeeling Tea
- 1 Cup Boiling Water
- 3/4 Ounce Jamaican Black Rum
- 3/4 Ounce Cognac
- 1 Teaspoon Honey
- 2 Teaspoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- Lemon Wedge
- Orange Slices
- In large-size measuring glass muddle unpeeled ginger and whole cloves. Add teabag and boiling water. Stir and let steep 5 minutes.
- Fill a large-size mug with hot water. Temper your mug by letting hot water sit in mug while the tea is steeping. Pour out hot water. In mug combine rum, cognac, and honey. Strain tea mixture into mug. Add fresh lemon juice, lemon wedge, and orange slices.
